Sara Bersi Armstrong, LMT 13349
Sara graduated from the Ashland Institute of Massage in 2006 and has been practicing therapeutic massage ever since. She previously completed yoga teacher training in Ashland in 2004, teaching in the community for three and a half years, and also holds bachelors degrees in psychology and anthropology from the University of Arkansas.
Sara is passionate about many forms of healing and appreciates each individual's journey toward wellbeing. She has witnessed many remarkable transformations from combining massage and yoga techniques for optimal rehabilitative results.
Since beginning her practice, Sara has worked alongside chiropractors, acupuncturists, and physical therapists, deepening her passion and curiosity for discovering new ways of healing the body from injury and dis-ease. Sara's intention when she gives massage is to help activate her clients' natural internal healing process. Her work is results-oriented, with the goal of increasing functionality and decreasing physical and mental stress.
Each massage session is unique and based on the needs of the present moment, with respect to the overall plan of care. The modalities that Sara incorporates and has found to be most effective include Orthopedic Massage, Myofacial Release, Deep Tissue, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF), Cranio-Sacral, Swedish Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Muscle Energy Techniques.
In her free time, Sara enjoys yoga, live music, being a mother, and spending time with friends and family exploring the Pacific Northwest in all of its breathtaking beauty.
